We have invested many hours evaluating and refining each of the 4.0L V6 Mustang products on our MD Chassis Dyno, to ensure that we could develop as much power as possible, as safely as possible.

CENTERFORCE® Dual Friction Clutch Systems (05-08 Ford Mustang V6)
Are you putting a serious power to the ground! Your manual transmission mustang need a quality clutch assemblies to get the engine’s power consistently to the ground.
We have selected the following as excellent choices for you. CENTERFORCE® utilize the proper balance of static pressure and friction materials to insure the clutch will hold the power and engage SMOOTHLY.

CENTERFORCE® DUAL FRICTION
The Centerforce Dual-Friction is engineered for those who are looking for the ultimate in street/strip holding power and performance without sacrificing pedal effort and driver control.
- Centerforce Dual-Friction disc has a full facing on the pressure plate side for drivability and longevity, while a carbon composite puc style (segmented) facing is used on the flywheel side for a positive engagement and increased holding-capacity.
- Centerforce Dual-Friction pressure plates feature their patented centrifugal weight system and specialized machining processes to provide a performance clutch that offers exceptional street characteristics, while offering outstanding holding-capacity and durability.
The Centerforce Dual-Friction has been engineered primarily as a street clutch it can be used in mild competition applications.
NOTE: The flywheel must be resurfaced when installing the clutch set to validate the manufactures warranty.

We looked at Steeda’s, 5.0 shifters shifter, and a couple of others and found them all to be adequate … but we wanted more than adequate. We wanted the best! In keeping with our goal of providing our customers with the best possible value, we chose the HURST Competition/Plus SHORT THROW SHIFTER.
Designed for a shorter and quicker shift, HURST Competition/Plus SHORT THROW SHIFTERS incorporate a high ratio pivot mechanism to reduce the throw by approximately 30% and provide a positive and secure feel when shifting. Dedicated applications ensure a custom fit, eliminating any vehicle modifications for ease of installation.
The HURST Competition/Plus Shifter for your mustang replaces the factory mounting rail with an upgraded rail with a more positive location; a high ratio pivot mechanism to reduce the throw by approximately 30% and provide a positive and secure feel when shifting,
and upgraded urethane bushings are supplied to further reduce deflection under hard shifting to further reduce deflection under hard shifting.
This shifter comes with detailed “easy to read” instructions. Installation of this kit is quite simple includes all of the special parts needed and should take no more than 1 hour to complete.
