Ford Racing Axle Girdle keep bearings and ring gears in place. Also, the incorporated, adjustable swivel "feet" load bolts prevent bearing cap movement and breakage, and ensure proper pinion depth and backlash.

Ford Racing Axle Girdle are made of Lightweight 356T6 aluminum casting, heat treated to T6 specifications and are machined using a 3 step CNC process ensuring accuracy and quality. Each cover is hand deburred and inspected for the utmost in fit and finish, hand assembled and packaged.

Ford Racing Axle Girdle incorporate a Fill Port and a Drain Port for ease of servicing with an increase fluid capacity approx. 1/2 pint lowering rear end operating temperature an average of 15 degrees.

Complete with mountings hardware, reusable gasket and everything needed to do the job right. Installs in minutes with simple hand tools

These Ford Racing gear sets will fit all GT and Cobra models from 1979 to 2009+. Ford Racing gear sets feature a strong forged construction for Race or Road-Race use. Ford Racing new manufacturing technology utilizes a Face Hob Process which features a single pass pinion tooth machining operation compared to a conventional three pass process for machining. CNC cut and lapped gear teeth.

Ford Racing gear sets includes basic accessories, such as shim kit. Ford Racing now offers a Ring & Pinion Installation bearing kit that is recommended by most installers, especially on cars with mileage.

FYI: All Ford rear ends, 8.8 inch. gears will fit all Mustangs with the exception of V6 models which have the 7.5 inch rear end.

These Motive Gears will fit all GT and Cobra models from 1979 to 2009+. Motive uses these gears in high horsepower racecars with outstanding results. Master bearing kit recommended by most installers for Motive Gears, especially on cars with mileage.
