MOTOBLUE™ CHEATER / "QC" PULLEY KITS

One of the easiest ways to pump up the power of your Shelby GT500 is to increase the factory boost level. When it comes to aftermarket pulley technology, there is no better choice than MOTOBLUE™. MOTOBLUE™ design engineers considered the engine's rpm capability, durability and other unique features to create the ultimate choice in aftermarket blower pullies.

MOTOBLUE™ offers 2 options for you to choose from: the MOTOBLUE™ Cheater pulley. and the classic Interchangeable “QC” Blower Pulley. the CHEATER pulley is rapidly becoming the pulley of choice. This simple replacement pulley gives the illusion of a factory stock diameter pulley to the untrained eye; but if you know cars, you will understand the powerful capabilities of this pulley. The MOTOBLUE™ Interchangeable “QC” Blower Pulley offers quick, trackside pulley changes.

The 2.60" CHEATER pulley bumps the boost to an impressive 15+ psi, and the 2.65" "QC" Blower Pulley bumps the boost to a comparable 12 psi. However, both pulleys do require custom tuning.

Installation is quite simple, but does require the use of a speical pulley puller and installation tool. With the correct tool it shouldn't take any more than an hour to complete.

MOTOBLUE™ GEN X Auxiliary Idler Kit
adds serious horsepower to your Shelby GT500

If you were looking to add a smaller diameter blower compressor pulley to your Shelby Mustang GT500, you’re in for a surprise. You will quickly find that by decreasing the pulley size does increase power, but it also increases belt slip reducing the power potential of the smaller pulley.

To accommodate the need of the smaller pulley and maximize performance gains for the performance enthusiast, we went to the engineers at MOTOBLUE™ and asked if they could come up with a safe and cost effective solution to this dilemma.

As a result, MOTOBLUE™ developed, tested and has now made available, the new MOTOBLUE™ GEN X Auxiliary Idler Kit for the Shelby GT500.

This true-grip auxiliary idler kit is designed to wraps the blower belt over 88% around the compressor pulley, effectively eliminating belt slip at any rpm. The bracket is made from CNC aircraft quality 6160 billet machined aluminum for a perfect fit and features a 90mm GEN X pulley with dual “sealed for life” bearings.

Designed as a direct bolt-on installation this kit is quite simple, includes all of the special parts needed and should take no more than ½ hour to complete.

MOTOBLUE™ Pulley Puller

Blower pulley installation quite simple with this tool. This custom installation tool greatly simplifies the process of installing any high-boost supercharger pulley on your Supercharged vehicle.

The MOTOBLUE™ Shelby GT 500 pulley puller is not a reworked tool that was originally designed for other applications, and is the only tool that grips the factory pulley by the grooved belt ribs.

Installation and removal should take no more than 1 hour to complete.
