Ford redesigned the 08 Shelby GT500 Harmonic Balancer. They made it 10-12 lbs lighter than the 07 Shelby GT500 balancer in an effort to reduce rotating mass, and decrease the falure rate on the 08 Shelby GT500 crankshaft. This however is far from what most of our competators who are advertising the stock 08 Shelby Ford Damper as "New Ford Damper (balancer) Technology" for the 08 Shelby GT500.

Sfi approved Harmonic Balancer you can get the best of both worlds. If you own the 07 Shelby GT500, this is the perfect time to upgrade your overweight balancer and at the same time increasing the boost. If you own the 08 Shelby GT500, this balancer will give you the opportunity to increase the boost of your Shelby, without increasing the chances of belt slip.

Note: Use of Harmonic Balancer Puller tool is required for factory Harmonic Balancer removal. Installation and removal should take no more than 2 hour to complete.

Running a larger pulley on the street saves fuel, while the 2..65" bumps the boost for an impressive 100+ horsepower gain (tuner required). Best of all you don’t pay the high price other manufactures are trying to charge for the same technology.

Blower pulley installation quite simple with this tool. This custom installation tool greatly simplifies the process of installing any high-boost supercharger pulley on your Supercharged vehicle.

The MOTOBLUE™ Shelby GT 500 pulley puller is not a reworked tool that was originally designed for other applications, and is the only tool that grips the factory pulley by the grooved belt ribs.

Installation and removal should take no more than 1 hour to complete.
