If you were looking to add a smaller diameter blower compressor pulley to your Shelby Mustang GT500, you’re in for a surprise. You will quickly find that by decreasing the pulley size does increase power, but it also increases belt slip reducing the power potential of the smaller pulley.

To accommodate the need of the smaller pulley and maximize performance gains for the performance enthusiast, we went to the engineers at MOTOBLUE™ and asked if they could come up with a safe and cost effective solution to this dilemma.

As a result, MOTOBLUE™ developed, tested and has now made available, the new MOTOBLUE™ GEN X Auxiliary Idler Kit for the Shelby GT500.

This true-grip auxiliary idler kit is designed to wraps the blower belt over 88% around the compressor pulley, effectively eliminating belt slip at any rpm. The bracket is made from CNC aircraft quality 6160 billet machined aluminum for a perfect fit and features a 90mm GEN X pulley with dual “sealed for life” bearings.

Designed as a direct bolt-on installation this kit is quite simple, includes all of the special parts needed and should take no more than ½ hour to complete.

MOTOBLUE™ CHEATER X PULLEY AUX BRACKET KIT

One of the easiest ways to pump up the power of your Shelby GT500 is to increase the factory boost level.

The MOTOBLUE™ Interchangeable “QC” Blower Pulley System for the factory supercharger. The factory blower pulley is pressed onto the shaft - which makes quick, trackside changes impossible. With the MOTOBLUE™ Interchangeable “QC” Blower Pulley Kit you simply replace the factory blower pulley with a precisely machined steel hub and attach your choice of pulleys with the 5 grade o allen head set screws provided.

Running a larger pulley on the street saves fuel, while the 2..65" bumps the boost for an impressive 100+ horsepower gain (tuner required). Best of all you don’t pay the high price other manufactures are trying to charge for the same technology.

MOTOBLUE™ Pulley Puller

Blower pulley installation quite simple with this tool. This custom installation tool greatly simplifies the process of installing any high-boost supercharger pulley on your Supercharged vehicle.

The MOTOBLUE™ Shelby GT 500 pulley puller is not a reworked tool that was originally designed for other applications, and is the only tool that grips the factory pulley by the grooved belt ribs.

Installation and removal should take no more than 1 hour to complete.
