The main function of water/methanol injection is to provide chemical intercooling. Detonation is suppressed so that more power-producing boost and timing can be utilized. Water, with its high latent heat of vaporization, cools the intake charge and combustion. Methanol also cools while acting as a very high octane fuel (some researchers claim as high as 120 octane) and adds more oxygen to combustion.

Snow Performance's Boost Cooler System is an alternative, addition to traditional intercooled turbocharger, supercharged, and nitrous oxide-fed powerplants. Snows water-methanol injection controls detonation by cooling the inlet-air charge. Water basically cools the intake charge and combustion process. Methanol works as a cooling agent, but also serves as an extremely high-octane fuel. With an oxygen-heavy, denser charge and more ignition timing, horsepower gains can be impressive, thanks to the mist of this simple mixture.

This gasoline Stage 1 Boost Cooler™ kit is available for forced induction applications that are either fuel injected or carbureted.

Operation is very simple: the system starts injecting when the boost switch reaches the user-adjustable point and it injects a fixed amount of fluid through the nozzle until the switch opens again. This makes it a good choice for low to medium boost setups looking for an octane enhancement and cooler intake charge. Activation can also be set up through any other user-chosen switch, such as a full throttle switch, etc. Now with Lifetime Warranty - please see details.

Stage 2 Boost Cooler™

For application is forced induction, it can be used with very fast-spooling turbos, or positive displacement blowers. It is easier to set up with the positive displacement blowers with a MAF signal because it is more progressive in nature vs. the boost pressure signal on those applications. This allows for the most accurate injection possible over the widest range. The result is the most power and driveability possible. Now with Lifetime Warranty - please see details.

It can be used on any forced induction engine: carbureted, fuel injected, turbocharged, positive displacement or centrifugal blowers. The most suitable are the centrifugal supercharged ie: ProCharged/Vortech and all turbocharged engines, Both build boost in a progressive manner concerning water-methanol injection. Apositive displacement blower will work with this kit, but it might take more work to dial in the delivery. For higher boost applications (over 25psi), the controller can be upgraded to Snow performance P/N VC100.

Boost Juice™ 4 gal case : P/N SNO-40008


• A proprietary mix of 49% methanol and 51% water.
• It is made in a controlled environment with special care to make sure the ratios are accurate to result in a high performance water-methanol fluid formulated for use in the Boost Cooler™ injection system.

Nitro Booster™ 8-OZ : P/N SNO-40007


• Have you ever had a big race and needed 30 to 50 more HP? Now you can with Boost Juice™ "chemical supercharging". NitroBooster is designed to safely increase the horsepower of your Boost Cooler fluid by 30-50HP. It contains just the right amount of Nitro Methane (Nitro methane has fewer BTUs than gasoline, but contains oxygen that acts like a chemical supercharger and an octane enhancer to safely increase power.) to increase HP while not creating any lean conditions.

2.5 Gallon (7 qt) Reservoir Upgrade Tank : P/N SNO-40014

This 2.5 Gallon (7 quart) reservoir upgrade from Snow is perfect for trunk mounting. Features rubber insulators, quick connect fittings for 1/4 in. OD tube, and eight feet of extra tubing. This is a must for road racing applications or where high duty cycle/horsepower mandates higher volume.

Low Level Indicator : P/N SNO-40035
