96-04 FORD MUSTANG COBRA/GT BULLETT
JBA CAT4WARD C.A.R.B. Legal Headers improve efficiency and increase the airflow of the factory exhaust by up to 30% over factory exhaust manifolds.
This translates into increased pulling torque and free-reving horsepower. In fact, tests performed
for the C.A.R.B. show that vehicles equiped with JBA Shorty Headers run cleaner than originally
equipped vehicles.
When upgrading to a set of JBA Headers you will improve the acceleration, throttle response, and even the
fuel economy of your vehicle. You will also make the engine more sensitive to subsequent modifications
such as aftermarket intake systems, camshafts, cylinder heads, and especially superchargers.
Typical performance gains for today’s fuel injected V-8 engines will be anywhere form 10-25 horsepower
and similar numbers for torque. How much performance you gain will depend on the condition of your vehicle
and the upgrades you have already made. On supercharged applications you will see a more dramatic increase,
as much as 30+ horsepower is common.
