When GT was reborn in 2004, Pontiac enthusiasts now had an LS-powered performance car to amp up for the beast of the Firebird in 2002. Equipped with both the LS1 (2004) and LS2 (2005-06) engines, ProCharger once again leads the way with air-to-air intercooled supercharger systems and tuner kits for these unique GM performance cars.
LS1 GTO
Utilizing 7 psi of intercooled boost, a ProCharger System for LS1-equipped GTOs produces a 50-55% power gain on otherwise stock engines running high quality pump gas. Built around the ProCharger P-1SC-1 supercharger and a dedicated, 8-rib drive, the system comes 100% complete, including the front-mounted air-to-air intercooler, fuel injectors and a hand-held programmer.
LS2 GTO
With slightly higher compression than their LS1 predecessors, ProCharger Systems for LS2 powered GTOs run 6 psi of intercooled boost for 50% power gains on otherwise stock engines running high quality pump gas. ProCharger’s LS2 systems and tuner kits feature a front-mounted, air-to-air intercooler, P-1SC-1 supercharger and a dedicated 8-rib drive.
Tuner Kits: These kits make sense for someone wanting to perform custom tuning of the car and push the envelope in performance. Will most likely be experimenting with alternative fuels such as 93 octane, race fuel, E85 fuel, and methanol supplemental fuel. In addition, possibly changing engine components like heads, headers, exhaust, and cams for the engine. No tuning or fuel components provided.
High Output Intercooled Supercharger – 525+ to Over 800+ HP
The HO Intercooled ProCharger system for LS2 and LS1-powered 2004-06 GTO’s produces a 50-55% power gain on stock motors running pump gas, with 7 psi of intercooled boost. This compares to competing systems which produce 29-40% horsepower gains with the same 7 psi, but without ATI’s superior supercharger and intercooler technology.This system installs in approximately half the time of other systems, with no need to punch a hole in the oil pan, replace the engine intake, or deal with all the complexity of an air-to-water-to-air intercooler. This new ProCharger system also has a much more attractive and “OEM” appearance than others for the GTO. Additionally, with the coolest charge air temperatures available, the HO Intercooled ProCharger system for the GTO produces not only the industry’s undisputed largest power gains, but also the best engine longevity.
Standard equipment includes an exclusive air-to-air intercooler system and a patented self-contained P-1SC-1 supercharger, with 3-year warranty available. This new product utilizes the same proven technology as the industry-leading Intercooled ProCharger systems for LS1 F-bodies and C5 Corvettes.
Tuner Kits: The Intercooled Tuner Kit is identical to the complete system, but omits fuel injectors and computer programmer. Higher boost and power levels are available for modified engines. Call today for more information.
