JLT BIG AIR CAI for 2011-14 5.0 with Roush, Whipple or FRPP Supercharger Kits

INTAKE TUBE WITH MOLDED-IN MAF
The best part of this Plastic JLT Big Air is they kicked the cool factor up a notch and molded a 123mm MAF housing right in the tube. This makes for a much smoother interior without any transitions, steps, or couplers to upset the airflow. Another benefit is the overall look is just plain awesome! NO METAL TUBING HERE!! Early testing shows this can be used with the stock MAF sensor all the way up to 650 RWHP and well beyond with a MAFia, SCT BA5000, or HPX sensor.

HEATSHIELD
Roto-molded heat shield to block engine heat at idle and low speed.
It incorporates the fresh air inlet from the grill.
It uses a large area to make sure the filter has tons of cool air.

AIR FILTER
JLT use only the best air filters made by S&B to our specifications. We love S&B’s tapered flange design and Power stack filtered ends. With a huge 5” opening on the tube, we needed a huge filter. The result is a monster 5×7” filter with a built-in Bell Mouth to straighten airflow. It measures a full 8.25” across at the base and 5.5” at the top.

AIR FILTER OPTIONS – OIL OR DRY
We use only the best air filters made by S&B to our specifications.
For years we only used oiled filters, but dry filter technology has been proven and is now a popular option.

Should I choose a Dry Disposable or Cotton Oiled Filter?
Since you are not sacrificing performance with either choice, the decision comes down to would you rather throw away the filter or clean it.

Dry: Comparable airflow to oiled cotton filters with the same great protection.
Last for up to 30,000 miles of highway driving. Extend the life of the filter using compressed air.

Oil: Oiled filters can last forever as long as you properly clean and re-oil it.

Custom tuning is required

2013-14 owners, ALL JLT KITS NOW INCLUDE OUR WATER BLOCKER PLUG INSERT FOR NO WORRIES ABOUT WATER GETTING TO THE FILTER.
